Within your $300 team registration (per player) we cover tournament registration, practice ice times (5 hours minimum) team-snap fees, and event-connect fees. Jersey and Socks, $180.80 is not covered within the registration fee and is paid by parents separate.
The $30 player fee is a NBHP administration fee. This covers the management of your team, aka, pucks, drill cones, pinnies, practice jerseys, coaching boards, first aid kits, travel hockey puck bags, accommodating hotel arrangements, tournament registration processing and the compiling of roster players to make your team. In order for NBHP to continue providing youth travel team opportunities, this fee is essential to our success and operation.
Registration is simple, click any register button, fill out the information, select the tournament (s) your child would like to attend and we find you a roster spot for that specific age group and tournament.
No, all players that wish to enter or attend a tournament can do so. We do require that the athletes have the ability to stand, skate forward and backwards. This is not a learn to skate program.
The budget works in a very simple manner. We take the total expenses, minus from total registration fees and if anything is left, the team can opt for additional ice, instructor development or a refund split amongst all families.
If a team has any sponsorship, the money must be spent, any sponsorship money left over on team budgets will automatically be sponsored back to North Bay Hockey Programs helping provide future development opportunities to youth athletes.
Please note, this is a sample and I have rounded the numbers to maintain simplicity. This is also based on a 13 player roster, more players equal less individual family costs.
